This International award winning private game reserve is located in the finest territory of the world famous Sabi Sand Game Reserve. It stretches for kilometers along the perennial Sabie River which forms its natural boundary with the Kruger National Park. The land, which has been owned and managed by the More family for four generations, is a place of rarity and carries with it a passion which can only be instilled by a great family history.

The reserve offers comfortable accommodation in 3 luxury lodges:

The Lodge 1933 offers 4 suites with en-suite bathrooms, air-conditioning and overhead fans, electronic safes, hairdryers and personal bars. There is a children's room with an inter-leading single au-pair / security bedroom. It has a designer kitchen, open plan dining area and lounge with fireplace, satellite TV, internet connectivity, telephone, library, wine cellar, gymnasium, sauna and swimming pool. The lodge is surrounded by private wooden viewing decks.

The Ivory Lodge has 6 luxurious suites with en-suite bathrooms, air-conditioning and overhead fans, private lounge with fireplace and satellite TV, indoor / outdoor dining areas, gymnasium and plunge pool.

The River Lodge consists of 20 luxurious bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, communal lounge with fireplace, outdoor safari lounge, air-conditioning and overhead fans, satellite TV, internet connectivity, telephone access, health spa and gymnasium, curio shop, boma and river deck.

The activities programme has been developed to enhance the guests safari experience by enabling the guest to further tailor-make their stay with us. The activities are all offered in a flexible and convenient environment. This activities include open land rover game drives, bush walks, safari lunches, river tours, bush dinners and astronomy.

From Johannesburg or Pretoria

Take the N12 / N4 highway to Nelspruit. Take the R40 from Nelspruit to Hazyview. At Hazyview turn right onto the R536 towards Paul Kruger Gate. After 38km turn left onto the gravel road which is signposted to Lion Sands. Drive along the dirt road for 4km. At T-junction turn right and drive for 4km to the Sabi Sand Gate (entrance fee R70 per vehicle). Drive straight as signposted to Lion Sands. After 2km turn right at sign and drive straight following signs to either River Lodge or Ivory Lodge.

of fly with Federal Air and/or Bataleur from Oliver Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg straight to Skukuza Airport in the Kruger National Park (hours flight on average) and then a 20 minute 'game drive' transfer to our lodge.
