Location R536, Sabi Sand Game Reserve, Mpumalanga From Johannesburg or Pretoria Take the N12 / N4 highway to Nelspruit. Take the R40 from Nelspruit to Hazyview. At Hazyview turn right onto the R536 towards Paul Kruger Gate. After 38km turn left onto the gravel road which is signposted to Lion Sands. Drive along the dirt road for 4km. At T-junction turn right and drive for 4km to the Sabi Sand Gate (entrance fee R70 per vehicle). Drive straight as signposted to Lion Sands. After 2km turn right at sign and drive straight following signs to either River Lodge or Ivory Lodge. of fly with Federal Air and/or Bataleur from Oliver Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg straight to Skukuza Airport in the Kruger National Park (hours flight on average) and then a 20 minute 'game drive' transfer to our lodge.
