| DESCRIPTION: | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
We are a small private resort on an export citrus farm situated on the Clanwilliam Dam, at the foot of the majestic Cedarberg Mountains. The resort consists of one luxury self catering cottage, 4 wooden chalets and a small caravan and camping park. Sit back and relax on the patio with sundowners and enjoy of the most spectacular scenic views. Watch the mountains change color as the sun sets. The Citrus Cottage is a home away from home as it is surrounded by the orange groves and the beautiful dam. It is fully equipped for self catering purposes and it has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It can accommodate up to 6 people and it is very spacious. The cottage has satellite TV (DSTV), a laundry room with automatic washing machine. The wooden cabins are situated right on the waters edge. There are two 2 sleeper cabins, one 4 sleeper cabin and additional one 6 sleeper cabin. The two and 4 sleeper cabins have separate ablution facilities. The 6 sleeper has its own compact bathroom. Each unit has its own kitchenette, double door fridge, microwave oven, 2 plate hot stove, kettle, crockery and cutlery. Linen also is provided in all the units and guests need to bring their own towels. Each cabin has its own private parking area, outside braai (barbecue) and lawn area. Relax on our manicured green lawns at the caravan and tent sites which are also right on the waters edge. We only have 15 sites in total so that you can still enjoy the up country uncrowded feeling. All of our sites have electrical points and ablution facilities. Regrettably no day visitors are allowed, as this camping site is reserved strictly for our guests. Various activities are available at the resort (with own equipment) including water skiing, jet skiing, parasailing, wind and kite surfing, fishing, mountain biking, bird watching and walking trails. We also have launching facilities for boats. There is a private landing strip right at the park / cabins for anyone wishing to fly inn for an unforgettable stay. |
