Lantern Herberg Lodge & Safaris

The Lantern Lodge is situated in the hart of the bushfeld six kilometers from Mokopane (formerly Potgietersrus) on the Zebediela road. When staying with us you will experience real bushfeld hospitality, evenings around the fire having a braai (barbecue). Lots of different bird species to see, some small game species and relaxing evenings.
 
Swimming in our outdoor pool overlooking the mountain and taking long strolls in the evenings. We also have a quadbike trail up the mountain (if you don't want to go up by foot), from where we have the most beautiful outlook over the valley and sunsets you won't see elsewhere in our country.
 
We can also arrange game drives on neighbouring farms as well as tours to the Makapan caves. If you really want to relax and be away from city life for a while you will enjoy staying with us. Hunting trips can be arranged with our qualified outfitter and professional hunter. We love family life and children are welcome.
