The 5 timber cottages are situated in a beautiful position against the hill nestling amongst indigenous Milkwood trees, overlooking the resort and the lake. They are comprised of three bedrooms, one with double bed, the second room with single beds and the third with either single or adaptable bunk style beds. The main bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and the second bathroom offers a shower and bath and a separate toilet. There is a large wooden deck (veranda) with a built in braai (barbecue) leading into the lounge which boasts an open fireplace. A private swimming pool is available for the 5 timber cottages resident's exclusive use.

The garden lodges are constructed in brick and they are semi-detached units. The lodges are situated in a lovely green setting surrounded by established trees and visited by a myriad of birds. They are comprised of two bedrooms with 2 single beds in each bedroom, one and a half bathrooms, upstairs and downstairs, and an open plan lounge / kitchen. The lounge 3 seater oak settee can be made up into the 5th and 6th beds, by prior arrangement. Sliding doors lead onto a brick patio with braai (barbecue) area. All the cottages and lodges are fully equipped with kitchen facilities, TV's, bedding and bath towels with complimentary shampoos and soaps.

Lake Pleasant Resort, home of the black bass and wild bird, is situated halfway between Wilderness (20km) and Knysna (20km) on the shores of the freshwater lake of Groenvlei. The resort boasts a squash court as well as a tennis court, limited mountain bikes for hire and two swimming pools. Various facilities in the surrounding area includes safe swimming at the lake beach, boats and canoes for hire, bass fishing, private mooring facilities and a large games area. The resort also boasts a very attractive health and fitness cottage which consists of a steam room, jacuzzi, sauna, weights gym, cycling and health walker machines. The sea with its beautiful stretch of the golden sanded beach is just over the hill (3km), and easily accessible by car. The restaurant "Peridot's" is situated in the resort and it offers delicious meals such as breakfast, lunch, dinner, teas, snacks and take-aways.
