La Bohème Guest House is a secluded 5 star retreat offering luxury B&B and self catering accommodation in Upington, Northern Cape.
The guest house is a private oasis of exquisite serene living, where the Kalahari's beauty meets with elegance, refined ethnic style and exotic bohemian inspirations. Situated in a residential area within less than 10 minutes drive from Upington town centre and superbly nestled in a vast tropical garden, La Bohème has breathtaking views of the Orange River Valley melting into the endless Kalahari semi-desert. Owner Evelyne is from Switzerland, her "right-hand" Izanne is South African. English, French, (Swiss-) German, Italian, Afrikaans and Hungarian are spoken.
Accommodation is offered in 2 double rooms in the residence (one is en-suite, the other has a nearby separate private bathroom), as well as in a spacious cottage (with 2 bedrooms, 2 en-suite bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchenette and barbecue facilities). Each room/unit offers Orange River Valley and/or garden views, and is directly accessible from the garden via its own private terrace or verandah. Please see our "Rates" page for individual details.
The generous breakfast (buffet) is usually served on the verandah, or in the dining room nearby the cozy fire place in winter. Daytime snacks, afternoon tea with cake, sundowners and braai (barbecue) areas are available. For other meals: restaurants, bistros, pubs, take-away places, etc. are all within only 3 - 10 minutes drive from the guest house.

After passing in front of Naba Lodge's main entrance (when driving from the N14), turn immediately left. A tall Vodacom tower (which is a giant "palm tree") is situated at the end of Groenpunt Road (a cul-de-sac road), just a few metres distance from the Guest House.
