Kurhula means "inner peace" in the Shangaan language. That is exactly what you will find in our little paradise. The lodge offers space for 8 guests and is situated right on the banks of the mighty Olifants River. It has an exceptional view and offers a true safari experience including a wide variety of fauna and flora. The lodge's perfect location makes it possible to see all the highlights. After a day of outdoor excitement, you can relax at lodge.
Kurhula Lodge has four double rooms situated in 2 thatched bungalows. The rooms are accessible via their own entrances from the veranda which you will have an exquisite view of the river. All the rooms have comfortable beds, air-conditioning, mosquito nets, wardrobe and a safe. The en-suite bathrooms are equipped with a private shower, toilet, double basins and hairdryer. Slate tiles are used on the floor and in the bathroom to give that real authentic African feeling.
All accommodation is on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis, serving a sumptuous breakfast on the veranda of the main lodge. At night we serve an African three course meal with an European touch. Should you have any special dietary requirements please notify us beforehand and we will make sure that all requests are met. Lunch is available on request. |
