If you are looking for a taste of "Africa in the suburbs" - you've found the right place! Kulanga Cottages B&B have been hosting regular guests since 2000, offering a unique African experience. We are situated in the well established, quiet suburb of Linden, yet a stone's throw away from the heart of our vibrant "Jozi", and close to all major freeways and tourist attractions.
A beautiful tranquil garden is the perfect setting to enjoy the wondrous proliferation of African birdlife! Our four thatch cottages which all have their own unique contemporary African ambiance, are situated in such a way that complete privacy is ensured.
Our cottages 'LANGA' and 'NYANGA' have twin beds, a kitchenette and private bathroom with double basins and a luxuriously spacious shower. Our stunning new air-conditioned honeymoon / family cottage, 'UMNDENI', can accommodate four in two double beds in an open plan setup. It has a private bathroom with shower as well as an enormous bath with mosaic inlay. Also new is our comfortable cottage 'KUNYE', with a double bed and private bathroom with shower.
There is a great variety of popular (half) day-trips in and around Johannesburg to be experienced, and we will gladly book these for you. Airport transfers as well as car hire by prior arrangement. We are conveniently close to Conference Centres, Theatres, Art Galleries, Hospitals, & Universities. Major shopping malls and sports clubs are also nearby. |
