Reward yourself with a visit to our tranquil guest farm situated just off the N1 highway. It is the perfect stopover for the weary traveller. Kuilfontein Guest Farm is a working sheep farm that has been in the family for 5 generations. Our establishment is perfectly situated just 500m from the N1 in a safe and secure farm style environment. Lock-up garages are provided for the guests.
Both houses on the farm have been converted into guest accommodation. Each unit has 2 bedrooms with their own bathroom, kitchenette and private entrance.An 1880 outbuilding has been converted into 3 private units with own bathroom and kitchenette. All beds have electric blankets and there are heaters and fans in each guest room. The lounge and dining rooms are communal and the lounges have cosy fireplaces for those chilly winter nights. A delicious Karoo lamb dinner is served with home grown veggies and a mouth watering dessert. A full English breakfast is served in the mornings, just what you need to start your day!
The guest farm has extensive lush gardens with a lovely swimming pool area. Guests can enjoy a relaxing walk along the scenic Bossiespruit trail. Many guests drive up Signal Hill for a panoramic view of the area. You may be lucky enough to see Mountain rheebuck, meercats, jackal and the resident black eagles. We look forward to meeting you and spoiling you with our Free State hospitality which we are renowned for. |
