Augusta Kleinbosch Guest Farm is situated at the foot of the spectacular Klein Drakenstein Mountains, near Paarl and Wellington in the heart of the historic Winelands. Our history stretches back to 1692 when the first European settlers settled in this area. The Gedenkschool (First Official Christian Afrikaans School) was opened in 1883. The Bible was also translated in Afrikaans for the first time on Kleinbosch. The Gedenkschool now offers a conference facility on the top floor and 4 luxurious suites at the bottom.
Quality and attention to detail is important to us! Augusta offers accommodation for a maximum of 20 people and can sleep 13 singles for conferences or wine walk groups. Our nine generous guest rooms are lovingly restored, individually furnished and offer every comfort in warm and relaxed atmosphere. All guest rooms have en-suite bathrooms, tea/coffee making facilities, fridges and private terraces, which are surrounded by luscious gardens. Some rooms have a TV's, open fireplaces and underfloor heating. All children are welcome, and we have baby-sitting facilities. We also have space for children to drive around on their bicycles, while dad fishes.
Our restaurant offers an A La Carte Menu, and we have a lovely braai (barbecue) area at our pool and boma. The farm is surrounded by wine and guava orchards, inviting families and guests who seek privacy and quality time together. Mango trees surround the swimming pool, enhancing the ambience and charm of this setting. Fishing and walks around our dam, will leave you refreshed. Intimate weddings, marquee weddings will be your dream come true...
