The farm has a history that stretches back to the period when European settlers first arrived in South Africa. With colonisation the first Huguenot arrived in a small group in 1688 and were given land nearby the Drakenstein Mountains.

Positioned in the spectacular Drakenstein Mountains near Paarl, Augusta Kleinbosch Country Lodge is in the heart of the world-famous Cape Winelands. With its three historical buildings, the farm is surrounded by wine and guava orchards, inviting the adventurous guest to enjoy delightful walks while identifying the many species of indigenous birdlife on the property. Mango trees surround the swimming pool, enhancing the ambience and charm of the setting.

Our nine generous guest rooms are all lovingly restored, individually furnished and offer every comfort, a warm atmosphere and relaxation. All guest rooms have en-suite bathrooms, tea / coffee making facilities, fridges, CD players and private terraces, which are surrounded by luscious gardens.
