We arrived without reservations and were warmly welcomed with beautifully decorated rooms and bedding that makes it difficult to rise and start the day. Luckily the breakfast helps to soothe the disappointment of having to leave the comfort of one's bed. The tranquillity, friendly and helpful personnel and owner makes one wish that everyday could be started this way. A definite must if you find yourself in Ficksburg weary from a long day's travel or gallivanting in the surrounding areas.
