At Die Kersiehuis Guest House in Ficksburg we do appreciate the comments of many of our guests from South Africa and aboard who congratulate us on the quality of accommodation and hospitality we present. The guest house is situated in the picturesque Eastern Free State town of Ficksburg. It is the cherry and sandstone capital of South Africa situated at the foot of the Imperani Mountain.
We offer 8 en-suite bedrooms with individual interiors. Tourist and business people just adore the snow white linen and bathrooms. Our manageress and hostess, Ina van Jaarsveld is well known for her excellent meals that she serves to the guests.
The tranquility of Ficksburg and its surrounding is precious as you can escape from the hectic pace of city life. Guests prefer to stay at least two nights take a trip on the white mischief pleasure boat near Ficksburg and to travel over the magnificent Maluti Mountains to the Katse Dam in Lesotho using the Italian engineered Mifika Lisiu Pass. Enjoy the view at the height of 3090 meters above sea level at the picnic spot! |
