Nestled on a 1500ha reserve in the dry, semi-desert Karoo; this Inn provides wonderful opportunities to explore the unique fauna and flora that this area is so well known for. For those seeking solitude and escape from civilization, the Karoo offers the ideal stay.
The reserve has been carefully nurtured and now offers one of the most interesting and diverse conservation areas in the region. Animals resident on the property include the rare Cape Mountain Zebra, Black Wildebeest, Springbok, the beautiful Bontebok, numerous Tortoise species, as well as other more common species.
Accommodation is in comfortable two bed room chalets crafted from local stone, each has its own fireplace, bathroom and unbelievable vistas. A central area has been created within the original farmhouse, which dates back to the early settlers and houses a cosy pub, dining area and lounge. The property is vast and offers panoramic views and exceptional walking trails, mountain biking, and general exploring. The climate is extreme with hot summers and regular snow falls in winter.
Mark and Shannon look forward to making your stay in the Karoo an enjoyable one.
