Ever dreamed of staying in a rustic old farm house or experiencing the simple joys of tree-top living? Scenically set in a poplar forest on the banks of the Olifants River you will find your own rustic hideaway-on-stilts-for-two. An old farm house looking out over lush green orchards to the river and mountains beyond.
Tree Tops offers five double bedroom cabins. Each cabin is furnished with a small fully equipped kitchenette with a two-plate stove and oven. A fifth cabin, called 'Maxima' has a large patio and undercover braai (barbecue) area and kitchen. This facility provides a communal eating area for groups, even on a rainy day. Ablution facilities, a large sundeck and barbecue area on the banks of the river.
The Farm House offers three bedrooms and sleeps 10 people. Bed linen is provided, please bring your own towels. The farm style kitchen, with breakfast table, is fully equipped with everything from crockery to a microwave oven.
You can enjoy swimming, fishing, bird watching or take long walks through citrus orchards. Bring your fly rod & tackle and hook into a large mouth Bass or even the sought after Clanwilliam yellow fish. (Yellows on catch and release basis.) |
