Enjoy true Karoo hospitality in the centre of South Africa. Accommodation includes en-suite bedrooms, family rooms and two separate cottages. This guest houst is a perfect stop-over between Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, Johannesburg and Durban. It is situated in the centre of Colesberg, in a quiet one-way street parallel to the main road.

The building was built in the 1840's. The neighbouring horse mill was erected on the farm "Sewefontein" in 1891. It was brought here to Colesberg in 1977, and is now a National Monument.

Lunch and dinner are served at the neighbouring "Horse & Mill", our historical English-style Pub. We have an a'la carte menu, but Karoo lamb is our speciality.

Approaching from the North

• Enter at the first ramp.
• Drive up Church Street.
• At Colesberg Lodge turn right into Voortrekker Plain.

Approaching from the South

• At the Wimpy / Engen off-ramp turn right.
• Follow the road until you reach Dutch Reformed Church on your left, turn right into Church Street.
• Just before "Colesberg Lodge", turn left into Voortrekker Plain.
• Turn left into Bell Street.
• Come to second building on right, Horse & Mill.
• After completing the register we will take you next door to Horse & Mill Guest House.
