Enjoy true Karoo hospitality in the centre of South Africa. Accommodation includes en-suite bedrooms, family rooms and two separate cottages. This guest houst is a perfect stop-over between Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, Johannesburg and Durban. It is situated in the centre of Colesberg, in a quiet one-way street parallel to the main road.
The building was built in the 1840's. The neighbouring horse mill was erected on the farm "Sewefontein" in 1891. It was brought here to Colesberg in 1977, and is now a National Monument.
Lunch and dinner are served at the neighbouring "Horse & Mill", our historical English-style Pub. We have an a'la carte menu, but Karoo lamb is our speciality. |
