DESCRIPTION:
 
Our bed and breakfast is situated in the tranquil and tropical village of St. Lucia. This village lies on the banks of the St. Lucia Estuary. The village is unique as it is totally surrounded by The Greater St. Lucia Wetland Park - South Africa's first natural World Heritage Site.

Your hosts welcome you with warm tranquility and personal service. We offer three well appointed, comfortable and fully serviced rooms with en-suite bathrooms. Tea and coffee is available in each room. A laundry service is also available. Breakfast is either served on our deck or inside the dining room. Lunch and dinner is available on a variety of tours, or can be enjoyed at a variety of restaurants in the village, all within walking distance of Hornbill House.

Tours and outdoor activities with "Shakabarker" are available, departing from Hornbill House. These tours are ideal for all outdoor enthusiasts!

DIRECTIONS:
 
Take the N2 from either Durban or Johannesburg. At the Mtubatuba turn-off take the R618 to St. Lucia. When you get to St. Lucia turn right into Mckenzie Street and travel south for 800m. At the craft market turn left into Dolphin Street, and then left into Hornbill Street. No. 43 Hornbill is on your right.
