Highlands Country Lodge is situated on the Farm Tevreden (Est. 1888) overlooking the Hamlet of Tonteldoos.

The accommodation offered at the lodge consists of 4 double en-suite (shower and bath) cottages. Each cottage has a queen sized bed, tea / coffee making facilities, bar fridge, romantic open fireplace and a private verandah overlooking Tonteldoos.

The main house has a dining room, lounge, Mad Hatters Pub with large screen TV to watch the sport channels and popular sporting events. Dinner and breakfast can be served in the dining room or on the private verandah which overlooks the beautiful garden.

Travelling on the N4 highway from Pretoria or on the N12 from Johannesburg, drive to Middelburg Plaza and take the 2nd turn-off into Fontein Street. (Now Samora Machel) Then turn left towards Middleburg and drive until you come to a T-junction and then turn right(Cohen Ntuli). At the 2nd robot turn left in Meyer Street to Stoffberg onto the R555 and drive for 66km. When you approach Blinkwater Garage and Butchery turn right to go to Roossenekal (R555). Travel for 14km and then turn right at Tonteldoos/Hartelus sign (Road D336). The lodge is now 6km away, when you see the signboard for the lodge, turn left and drive for 700m until you reach the next Highland Country lodge sign. Turn right then drive for 500m over cattle grid to covered parking on the left. Reception in main house on right.
