Highcliffe House Luxury Apartments. Situated in beautiful Gordon's Bay, is a luxurious and spacious self-catering guest house, offering TGCSA 4 Star Graded accommodation in 3 fully self-contained apartments for discerning guests who are looking for luxury, at afforable prices, and also wish to cater for themselves or are looking for a base from which to visit the many highly rated restaurants in the Helderberg Basin. Located on the hillside overlooking False Bay and the Helderberg & Hottentots Holland mountains, Highcliffe House has breathtaking sea and mountain views, and is only two minutes from the white sandy beaches of Gordon's Bay and the famous "blue flag" Bikini Beach. Gordon's Bay has now been designated as the starting point for the Whale Coast Route and is also at the start of the Helderberg Wine Route, which features many of the top wine estates in the Western Cape Winelands.
The establishment offers three spacious apartments, the one bedroomed Merlot and Pinotage Suites, and the two bedroom / two bathroom Riesling Suite. All our very spacious apartments have stunning sea and mountain views, with large fully equipped kitchens and tastefully furnished sitting rooms and dining areas. All the bedrooms are beautifully appointed and all are en-suite with modern bathrooms and separate showers. The apartments have air-conditioning, ceiling fans, satellite TV (DSTV), DVD/CD players and mini hi-fi systems, free 24 hr wireless internet access, personal safes, hairdryers, braai (barbecue) facilities and private patios. The apartments are serviced on weekdays, and our percale cotton bed linen is changed twice weekly, while towels are changed daily. Each apartment has its own private entrance, with direct access from off-the-roadsecure parking.
Our guests are invited to unwind and cool down in our sparkling heated swimming pool, or simply relax by the pool on comfortable loungers, taking in the view with a cool glass of wine. They can also enjoy an evening braai (barbecue) as the sun sets over False Bay. We also have a cocktail bar off the pool area, where guests can enjoy a drink with other guests, or with your hosts, Jim and Jane Yeomans, who own and manage Highcliffe House, and will look after your every need.
We are centrally located to all the tourist attractions of the Western Cape, including the Cape Town Waterfront & Table Mountain, Stellenbosch, the rest of the Helderberg Basin, Walker Bay including Hermanus Paarl and Franschhoek. There are five championship golf courses within 15 minutes drive, many gourmet restaurants and various shops, including an extensive shopping mall, are also situated nearby.
