Harrismith is recognized as "The Entrance to the Drakenberg" - a majestic stretch of mountains which offers plenty of outdoor exhilaration. The area is abundant in natural beauty and situated within striking distance between Durban and Johannesburg.
This roadside Inn is really located on the N3, halfway between Johannesburg and Durban. The hotel has superb views of the Platberg Mountains. We have a total of 117 rooms incorporating: 90 twin bedded rooms, 24 double rooms (King Leisure), 1 disabled room and 1 suite. Each room is fully equipped with: Private bath, shower & toilets, hairdryer, electric Shaver plug, (220 / 110V), kettle and coffee and tea supplies, air-conditioning and heating, switch board operated phones, directories, TV with 9 channels. The rooms, on 2 floors, surround a large swimming pool, so you are never far from a cooling splash when the mercury rises.
Our restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner, 7 days a week, offering a carvery, buffet and a' la Carte menu. The residents bar, "Sir Harry's", offers a pool table for your entertainment. We also have a boardroom and conference facilities. |
