After an early game drive, morning brunch on the deck overlooking the river abundant with hippo and a variety of wildlife offers the type of relaxation needed by most. Sunset brings another opportunity to go game viewing and explore some of the nocturnal creatures that are found under spotlight. Tranquil evenings are spent around an open fire in the boma surrounded by the aromas of dinner being cooked in front of you and the calls of the wild.

Travelling the N1 North the route has about 5 tollgates just before the Plaza near Polokwane (Pietersburg). From there follow the R71 to Tzaneen through beautiful Magoebaskloof or R528 over George's Valley. Continue on the R71, do not take the turning to Hans Merensky Reserve just outside Tzaneen. At Gravelotte take a left turn to Phalaborwa. You are now only 50km away. Once you have reached Phalaborwa, follow signboards to Hans Merensky Golf Estate.
