Hanlin Lodge's three fully equipped self catering, luxury wooden chalets and a honeymoon suite are located on the dam wall. The Gatehouse provides comfortable accommodation for 4 - 6 more people. During the hot summer days guests can relax in the swimming pool. Both bait fishing and fly fishing can be practiced, with tilapia making easy targets even for children and the black bass putting up a magnificent fight for the more skilled fisherman. The variety of tame game (impala, giraffe, red hartebees, zebra, blesbuck and warthog) and more than 150 bird species ensures a pleasant walk or game drive on the farm. Visitors are welcome to bring mountain bikes for the sandy roads and even canoes to play on the dam.
Situated amongst lush Bushveld of the Springbuck Flats in the Waterberg region, Hanlin Lodge gives visitors who enjoy nature the opportunity to relax in bushveld surroundings. We offer guests the opportunity to take that much needed break from the hectic demands of today's lifestyle. We offer you a place to give your overloaded senses a break, where you can still see sunrises, sunsets and stars. In the late afternoons and evenings guests may see various game species coming to drink at the dam, while fish and turtles feast on insects on the water surface.
We cater for functions such as birthdays and anniversaries, as well as weddings and conferences. The open-plan wooden function hall, built over the water of the adjacent dam is ideal for functions. A fully licensed bar, well equipped kitchen and state-of-the-art sound equipment ensure that every function will be a most enjoyable affair. Satellite TV (DSTV) in the TV room is provided for all those not-to-be-missed sporting events. |
