We offer friendly, comfortable accommodation. Guthrie's is situated in a quiet and tranquil setting with an indigenous garden. It is within walking distance of the town and close to all sport amenities. We have a lovely patio to relax on and a large swimming pool during the hot weather. We have three bedrooms with single beds in each and they are all en-suite. Two rooms have showers and the third a bath. There is TV lounge for guests with DSTV and a bar where drinks can be served. The entrance to the lounge allows guests to come and go as they please. We endeavour to cater for all our guests' requirements and if they remain in during the day, we will serve a light lunch and refreshments if required. Guthrie's will also serve dinner at night if requested.

Barberton has many pleasant, easy walks and also houses the oldest rock formation in the world as well as the oldest mines. Guided field trips into the mountains can be arranged on request. Bird life is prolific for the bird lover.

Our local tourism office is very friendly and helpful for any extended information. We also have a historic museum and Jewellery project teaching students the art of manufacturing. Barberton is also close enough for guests who wish to have an extended visit, to visit the Kruger National Park entering at the Malelane Gate.
