In Greyton you will find peace, tranquility and a slower, more even pace of life only 90 minutes scenic drive from Cape Town. Close by you will find the Hermanus whale coast, and only 25 minutes away from the Walker Bay wine route. Greyton Lodge is a charmingly renovated collection of cottages, typical of the village and set around a delightful acre of gardens and lawns.
There are fifteen en-suite double bedrooms, suites and honeymoon suites, all individually decorated, some with antique brass beds, some with four poster beds. Many of the rooms have fireplaces and private entrances from the garden.
This is the perfect venue for functions such as weddings, conferences, birthdays and anniversaries. The conference rooms (up to 50 delegates) are well-equipped and air conditioned. We cater for up to 150 people under a marquee in the garden or 60-70 people in our dining rooms. Live music concerts are hosted every Friday afternoon in the garden during summer, and in the Gallery in front of the fire during winter. The GL Gallery has exhibitions on a regular basis from local and well known South African artists. Enjoy a drink "Behind Bars" (our bar) as this used to be the old police station, located in the GL Gallery. |
