The resort is situated on the banks of South Africa's largest dam, the Gariep Dam and bordering the Gariep Dam Nature Reserve which is home to many species of antelope and Cape Mountain Zebra. This resort offers excellent accommodation on luxury and standard self catering chalets including breakfast packages.

The accommodation at the resort consists of 44 (two or three bedroomed) chalets and 12 luxury (one or two bedroomed) chalets. The caravan park consists of 106 sites all with power and serviced by two ablutions. There is also 16 luxury caravan sites with own ablution facilities. We have a restaurant at the resort that can seat up to 100 persons and a ladies bar. Indulge on delicious meals from our buffet or a' la carte menu. Outside catering can be arranged at our lapa for various functions which include street braais (barbecues), beach parties and tailored theme evenings.

Gariep Dam Resort offers a lot of refreshing activities to enjoy during your stay, including bowls, golf, volleyball and tennis. Alternatively, enjoy walks or game drives through the nature reserve. This is a water sports enthusiast's paradise with windsurfing, sailing, jet skiing, rowing and power boating.
