Five Acres is set in large tranquil gardens, with shady trees and rolling lawns. All our units are separate from the main house and situated in the garden. They have been specifically decorated to relax our guests and provide them with homely comforts. Wide verandahs with comfortable chairs provide guests with the opportunity to enjoy the northern Cape weather and the pretty gardens. Sit outside on the verandah or in the garden and appreciate the stunning sunsets with your sundowner. All rooms have their own entrances and parking right outside the rooms means easy unpacking of vehicles. Full English breakfasts served in our dining room.

All garden rooms are en suite with TV, fans, air-conditioners, heaters and electric blankets, as well as fridges and kettles with a tea / coffee tray. Single, Double and Family accommodation, and some self catering. Each room is private with its own entrance out into the garden and all rooms have comfortable armchairs or sofa's. Cool off in the pool or simply laze around and enjoy our excellent birdlife.

We are situated only 1km off the N12 which makes it an easy stop-over for travellers and is easy to find. Small pets allowed (under supervision). We are close to all tourist amenities and a selection of excellent restaurants within easy distance, or a delivery service for those who just want to relax! Tour guides can be arranged as well as helicopter game viewing, or assisting with game capture programmes, bird guides, fly fishing trips or a Ghost Tour of Kimberley! Airport transfers can be arranged. Five Acres is owner-run and we are sure you will have a memorable stay with us.

From Cape Town

Turn left at the first robot you reach as you approach Kimberley. Five Acres is 1km from the robot.

From Johannesburg

Follw the signs to the Big Hole. Drive right past the Big Hole and carry on straight in that direction for approx 5km (through one robot and five 4-way stops). At the sixth four-way stop, turn right and we are 500m on the left hand side.

From Bloemfontein

You enter Kimberley going past the airport. Cross two railway bridges in quick succession. Follow the road to the new shopping Mall which is on the corner of MacDougall Str. Take the slip road to the left, continue through the first robot, on to the second robot which is at the intersection with the N12, and we are 1km from that robot on the left hand side.
