We are superbly situated near Boulders Beach, Simon's Town, with a 180 degree view of False Bay stretching from Muizenberg in the north to Cape Point in the south. On a clear day there are views of Stellenbosch, Gordon's Bay, Seal Island and Cape Hangklip.
Felsensicht is an ultra modern, large, attractive and wonderfully comfortable home. It can accommodate up to 6 persons in 2 double rooms and 1 twin room. The house consists of 3 levels, the ground, middle and upper floor. The ground floor has a large garage and storage area, the middle floor has open plan kitchen equipped with a glass top stove / oven, fridge / freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and scullery. All necessary linen, cutlery, crockery, glassware, pots and pans are provided. It has a dining room, lounge, Jetmaster fireplace, satellite TV, underfloor heating and a guest bathroom. There is large outdoor, sea facing patio with a magnificent view and a Weber for braais (barbecues). The upper floor has 3 bedrooms each leading onto a sea-facing patio, 2 bathrooms (1 en-suite) with bath and shower facilities. RedButton Internet hotspots are installed throughout the house. A complementary cleaning service is provided once a week. Children are welcome. Please note that we are a non-smoking establishment.
The house is a 2 minute walk from Fisherman's Beach and a 20 minute walk from the world famous penguins. Popular activities in the Cape Peninsula include swimming, body-boarding, surfing, windsurfing, sea kayaking, scuba diving, fishing and whale watching. There are various sporting facilities in the area such as golf, squash, bowls at the Simon's Town Country Club, birding, cycling and boat trips. Other interesting places to visit are Boulders Beach National Park, Cape Point, SA Naval Museum, Toy Museum, the Scratch Patch (gemstone collection). |
