This superior rated lodge on the banks of the tidal Sundays River is your entry point to the world famous Addo Elephant National Park, and some of the finest game reserves in the Eastern Cape. A choice of 6 en-suite bedrooms await the traveller who wishes to have more than an ordinary stopover. The safari type en-suite bedrooms, with old world furnishings are subtly decorated to give you a classy colonial African feel. Each room with its unique big five animal name is equipped with television, honesty fridge, safe and a choice of single or double beds. Farmhouse breakfasts are served on the magnificent decks which have sweeping views of stunning Sundays River. Various activities that are available in the area include qualified game guided tours into Addo Elephant National Park, bird watching canoeing, swimming, exploring the famous Alexandria Dune fields and visiting the beach where the river flows into Algoa Bay. Or perhaps you can just chill out on one of the recliners, on the deck and just soak up the sun! |
