An affordable malaria-free getaway - 30 minutes from Addo Elephant Park and only 80km from Port Elizabeth. A warm welcome awaits you at this 19th century farmstead in the Sundays River Valley in the heart of the greater Addo Route. It is still a working citrus farm, 2km from Kirkwood, a quaint village with lots of old fashioned hospitality on offer.
In 1887 a medical practioner, Dr. William MacDonald bought a piece of land and named it "Armadale" after the seat of the MacDonalds on the Isle of Skye in Scotland. In 1898 he build the present double storey house on the property.
Dreamers Armadale B&B offers comfortable en-suite bedrooms, one with private bathroom. Fridge, TV, air-conditioning / fans, tea & coffee facilities are available in each room. Relax around the pool. Dinner is available to the guests on request. There is also safe parking on the premises. |
