ATKV Drakensville Holiday Resort is a premier resort, nestled in the foothills of the northern Drakensberg, an internationally recognised world heritage site. Our location and wide range of accommodation options make Drakensville an ideal venue for weddings, conferences, teambuilding, group visits and tour destinations or simply, a weekend getaway. ATKV Drakensville offers a wide range of accommodation, from self catering units for two to spacious family houses for up to eight people as well as luxury bed and breakfast rooms. All units are serviced daily and are comfortably furnished, fully equipped and they have DSTV. The caravan park boasts lovely lawns and well kept ablution facilities and power points. Each stand has its own braai (barbecue) facility.

From Johannesburg

Take the N3 to Durban / Harrismith, and then take the second off-ramp at Harrismith - Bethlehem N5. Turn right towards Bethlehem and bypass Harrismith. Travel 4.5km and turn left onto the R712 Qwa-Qwa / Phuthaditjhaba / Bergville Road, the alternative route to Durban. Travel a further 8.5km and turn left onto the Bergville R74. Drakensville Mountain Resort is situated another 43km at the bottom of the Oliviershoek Pass. At the first cross road at the bottom of the pass turn left (on your right will be the road to the Northern Berg Resorts). Travel for 2km until you come to a T-junction then turn right. Turn right at the next stop street and travel another 2km following the canal road until you reach a bridge, turn left over the bridge. The entrance to Drakensville Mountain Resort will be situated further up the road on your right hand side.

From Durban

Take the N3 to Johannesburg. Turn off at the Colenso / Bergville R74 off-ramp (this is the first off-ramp after the Estcourt Shell Ultra City). Turn left following the signs to Winterton. Travel through Winterton and Bergville to Drakensville Mountain Resort. The resort is situated 28km from Bergville. Turn right at the road sign saying "Drakensville, Drakensville Koekeloer" and "Jagersrust Township". Travel 8km further and the entrance to the Drakensville Mountain Resort will be on your left hand side.
