Umdloti Beach is situated 25km north of Durban along the warm Indian Ocean. Umdloti Beach has retained an informal, non-commercialized, pristine beachfront conducive to a relaxed holiday. Die Strandhuis is situated in a cul-de-sac, 50m from the beach, in the quiet residential village of Umdloti. It overlooks one of the finest, as well as shark-protected beaches on the KwaZulu-Natal North Coast.

The House caters for a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 7 people. For privacy, it is only let to one family or to a group. It has a very large patio where you can enjoy outside living to its full. The rooms all have fan ventilation and open with sliding doors onto stunning sea views. The house has its own entrance and the vehicles are safe in a double garage with a remote controlled door. The kitchen is fully equipped (big fridge, freezer, dishwasher etc.) and a huge braai (barbecue) has just been completed. There is DSTV. You only have to bring your own beach towels. Serviced daily except Sundays.

Separate from the house are two self catering units, each with their own entrance. The "Embuia Suite" (sleeps 4) and the "Rosewood Room" (sleeps 2). The apartments have ceiling fans; and doors opening onto a little patio and you have sea views. The back door of each apartment opens onto the very beginnings of an indigenous garden with an established lawn. There is safe, secure parking behind a remote controlled gate. They both have a fully equipped kitchenettes and braai (barbecue) facilities are available. For DSTV please bring your own card. Serviced daily except Sundays.
