Crystal Waters Chalets are situated approximately 300km from Johannesburg in the Steenkamps mountains en route between Middleburg and Lydenburg on the Potspruit Estate - approximately 40km from Lydenburg and 35km for Dullstroom. Here nature lovers will find themselves surrounded by the mountains, waterfalls, natural fountains and trout dams.

Several hiking trails can be explored, where overnight facilities cater for basic needs. The Chalets are self catering and fully equipped for six people and it consists of two bedrooms, an open plan kitchen, gas stove, refrigerator, shower and toilet, hot water system and solar power lighting with braai facilities outside. A huge fire place offers romantic, cosy setting against cold winter nights. Ample firewood is for sale. There is also the De Berg Lodge which has four bedrooms and can accommodate ten guests.
