On your arrival at Craighall House, the garden will envelop you. In summer the bursts of colour, the wisteria and carefully tended roses. In winter, the evergreens, warm Johannesburg days and cosy evenings by the fire. A small, personally run guest house, close to Sandton, Rosebank and Melrose Arch and a short drive to the Johannesburg CBD. You will find the staffs treat you with exceptional courtesy and the regularly re-furbished, individual rooms are comfortable, clean and only have the best linen.
All the bedrooms are en-suite with well appointed bath or shower rooms. Each room is equipped with a fridge, TV, M-Net, telephone, wireless internet connection, fresh fruit, tea / coffee tray, hairdryer, gowns, fan and heating facilities. In addition, Craighall House also offers a spacious garden cottage which has a beautiful view of the surrounding garden. It has a fully equipped kitchen with microwave & hob oven as well as a cosy living area. The king size bed can be separated to make up individual twin beds and the bathroom has a bath as well as a separate shower.
Your host Oriel Moore, lives on the property and treats the whole guest house as her home. At breakfast every morning, your fresh fruit salad will have been made in the kitchen that day, using only in-season fresh fruit. The honesty bar in the living area is there for your use whatever time of the day. The house has a large outdoor patio and sparkling swimming pool.
Various shopping malls, clothing boutiques, restaurants, espresso cafes, and art galleries are situated nearby. Staying in Johannesburg on business - we are also conveniently located to the Gautrain Station and Sandton Convention Centre stop off points. Conference and function venues are also situated close by. |
