Clarens Lodge 174 is a 2 bedroomed, 4 sleeper luxury self catering lodge situated on The Clarens Golf and Trout Estate.
The lodge has satellite TV (DSTV), underfloor heating, and internal and external gas fireplaces for the snowy winters. Both bedrooms have full luxury bathrooms en-suite with baths and showers. The lodge has a fully equipped kitchen with a full oven, hob and microwave, plus a dishwasher and washing machine and there are inside and outside dining facilities. All linen and towels are provided.
Besides the 18 hole golf course and trout fishing dams and streams there are walks and hikes boasting spectacular mountain scenery that is often covered in snow in winter. Nearby Golden Gate National Park has completely unique mountain scenery and hiking trails. Activities in the area include 4x4 trails, quad biking, horse trails, white water rafting, kayaking and mountain biking.
Lesotho which is situated close by has skiing in winter and the Sentinel and Amphitheatre are nearby hiking attractions. San Bushman art is everywhere in these mountains and the quaint town of Clarens has a fine art community and a wealth of restaurants and craft shops. |
