Clan Court Guest House is an oasis in the heart of the quaint hamlet of Clanwilliam, with its landscaped gardens, palm trees and crystal clear salt water swimming pool. Guests can relax after an active day out or simply laze next to the pool and enjoy the sun. This gracious house is a blend of colonial charm and modern comfort, and provides a tranquil setting for guests to enjoy the hospitality of their hosts, John and Sheena. The guest house is centrally located, and it's a haven for nature lovers, birders, hikers, historians and travelling explorers. Your hosts can guide you with pointers or simply point you in the right direction when you embark on your South African journey of discovery. Sumptuous breakfasts are served either in the dining room or alternately out in the courtyard overlooking the swimming pool. Clan Court Guest House is a place where you can calm the mind nourish and rejuvenate the soul and gather energy to face the challenges of the world with renewed spirit, energy and excitement. Cedarberg Wilderness is a remote and pristine area with its breathtaking natural beauty, including a variety of fynbos and dramatic rock formations which offers visitors a unique wilderness experience. Only walking and hiking are permitted in this area. Other activities available in the surrounding area include hiking, bass fishing, birding, white water rafting, water sports on Clanwilliam Dam, 4X4 trails, mountain biking, horse riding, rock paintings, wild spring flowers, golf and bowls. |
