DESCRIPTION:

The Cape Cadogan Boutique Hotel offers a rare combination of historic exteriors with classic modern bohemian interiors. This stately double story Georgian which dates back to the early 19th century, was "Victorianised" in 1912 and declared a National Monument in 1984. It is the charm and character, matched with its desirable location amongst the popular restaurants, street cafes and stylish boutique shops of Kloof Street, which makes this hotel a flagship in Cape Town.

For those seeking comfort and luxury, The Cape Cadogan Hotel is the perfect choice. The reception areas are individually decorated and designed for comfort and tranquility. Bohemian chic is our hallmark and all twelve en-suite bedrooms are luxuriously decorated with an eclectic mix of contemporary and antique furniture. In addition, the hotel is family owned and managed, ensuring guests can look forward to personalised service from staff. They will share their local knowledge, enabling guests to enjoy local insights and an extraordinary holiday experience.

The Cape Cadogan Boutique Hotel also has as its presidential suite the Owners Villa. Decorated in a similar style to the hotel and with fabrics and textures forming a rich woven carpet, the classic old world style of Cape Town meets the new beautiful cafe society.

* The Boutique Hotel is currently offering a special until 31 July 2008 *

DIRECTIONS:

From Cape Town International Airport

Follow the exit signs from the airport and lookout for the Cape Town signs. At the 3km mark you will then join the N2 double lane motorway heading for Cape Town. Travel for 8.9km and pass twin concrete cooling towers on right hand side of motorway. Then the N2 motorway turns sharply to the left, follow left curve and "N2 City" signage. Keep on driving straight for 13.5km and bear to the right, following the "City N2" signage. Keep following N2 signage and where the road splits keep to the far right. At the end of this highway you will arrive at a very large intersection with a few sets of traffic lights. Cross over all of these without turning off.

This street is called Buitengracht Street, continue driving all the way up the road. Four lanes will become two and will eventually become a one-way street called New Church Street. Do not turn off anywhere. At the top of New Church Street there is another intersection with traffic lights. Cross over these and turn left at the second street after the intersection. This is Upper Union Street and the Cape Cadogan Luxury Boutique Hotel is situated 120 metres down the road on the right hand side and the apartments are situated in Nicol Street. Guests staying in the apartments must check-in at the hotel.
