The property is situated in Southbroom in Impenjati Nature Reserve, surrounded by lush tropical vegetation, perfect for nature lovers. Very peaceful and quiet, about 1km from the ocean, with own nature trail going through subtropical jungle, called "Bushbuck Trail". A variety of birds and animals can be observed from shady benches set along the trail, namely antilops bushbucks, grey and blue duikers, leguaans, vervet monkeys, mongooses, dassies, otters, and variety of exotic birds.
Bushbuck Lodge is situated on top of a hill and surrounded by a private nature reserve, boasting beautiful views, overlooking green valleys, and ending with the ocean. We offer well appointed chalets each with their own TV, DVD player, DSTV connection. We have a swimming pool with umbrellas and loungers, a lapa-thatch covered shaded arrea, braai (barbecue) area, huge wooden gazebo, secret garden with fish pond, shady benches and Boma-place of gathering at bone-fire and roof covered view deck. The property is very safe, walled and protected during the night. Vehicles are safely parked inside behind 2,5 m.tall walls.
Southbroom is a very cosmopolitan town with 35% of tenants being foreigners, very green, part of nature reserve and very safe - almost crime free area with unit of 18 private police patrolling streets constantly on foot and on bicycles. It boasts a number of activities and venues including a golf course, restaurants, tennis and bowling clubs, beautiful beaches, a tidal pool, post office, supermarket, laundry, petrol station, pharmacy and a bottle store. Bushbuck Lodge offers a secure, peaceful and quiet rest, ideal for people exhausted by the rat race of large cities. |
