We are a small lodge situated right next to the Botanical Gardens in Durban's lush suburb - Berea.

The place offers friendly service with a relaxed atmosphere in an afro-colonial setting. All the rooms are en-suite and equipped with air-conditioning / DSTV / tea & coffee-making facilities and fans for those hot and humid Durban evenings.

We offer safe off-street parking, a swimming pool and bar, laundry / maid service, and a fully fitted communal kitchen and braai (barbecue) area for your self catering requirements. There are telephone and fax facilities available on request, free wireless internet for guests who have their own laptops and lots of information available for tours / safaris, activities, car hire etc.

From the N3 coming into Durban take exit no.3, drive down King Dinzulu Road (Berea Road North). Turn left at 4th robot into Botanical Gardens Road. Then after about 1km at the end of the mid road railings, turn right (down the hill) into St. Thomas Road. We are the 5th house on the right opposite the entrance from the Botanical Gardens.
