Baviaans Wes Guest House offers its guests, a typical South African farm holiday. The farm is situated approximately 30 kilometers from Uniondale, South Africa in the direction of Willowmore and the Baviaanskloof, a declared world heritage site. On the farm guests can hike the numerous farm trails and bushman paintings can also be found. The farm also offers the 4x4 and 4x2 drivers as well as mountain bikers the opportunity to use their vehicles for the purpose for which they were manufactured. The farm tracks are ideal for this purpose and guests will be rewarded by the breathtaking Klein Karoo scenery along the way.

Various types of game might be encountered whilst hiking or driving and bird watchers will be rewarded for their patience at various locations on the farm. A number of blue cranes have made the yard their home and visitors have ample opportunity to study these amazing birds from up close. Guests can also take part in the farming activities on the farm and especially the children will enjoy watching the day to day operation of the farm. The ostrich farming process including incubation and hatching can be seen in the daily life of the farm. Come in shearing season at the end of January and October, or in lambing season from June to August / September until March.

Accommodation offered in the farm homestead consists of three family bedrooms, each with a double bed, a single bed and a cot. In addition, there is also a self catering cottage which can sleep 10 people. The cottage has 4 spacious bedrooms / living areas, a full bathroom with a separate shower, hand basin and toilet. The unit has fitted power points and the fully equipped kitchen has various facilities including a fridge, freezer, kettle, microwave and cutlery / crockery.
