At the foot of Mpumalanga's Hlumuhlumu Mountains, lies this beautiful 3 star resort surrounded by a private game reserve, which is habitat to a variety of antelope and white rhino's. Also famous for its hot mineral springs, lush green gardens and big shady trees, Badplaas is definitely the ideal family holiday destination in South Africa.

The accommodation at the resort consists of 37 hotel rooms (single, double / family rooms), 10 (4 sleeper) log cabins with views of the nature reserve, 135 (2 - 4 sleeper) chalets and rondavels, a 290 stand caravan park (all with power points) serviced by five ablution facilities.

Badplaas is especially popular for its large variety of leisure and entertainment facilities, including 4x4 tracks for the enthusiasts and game viewing on guided quad bike tours. Apart from the mineral swimming pools, the resort offers putt-putt, a golf course, fufi-slide, super tube, fly fishing and lots more. The resort also caters for conferences for up to 550 delegates with rooms that are fully equipped with modern facilities. A variety of team building activities are available, while the wide open spaces of the resort is ideal for any team building event.

At the foot of Mpumalanga's Hlumuhlumu Mountains, 283 km east of Johannesburg on the N4 to Machadodorp lies this award winning Resort. From Johannesburg, take the R22/N12 or the M1/N4 to Witbank/Middelburg. From Pretoria, take the N4 to Middelburg. After Middelburg take the R541 through Machadodorp (± 50 km). At the T-junction turn right onto the R38 towards Badplaas (± 5 km) the Resort is on your right.
