Avoca River Cabins is comfortably situated along the Sundays River in the Eastern Cape. This is an operational citrus farm, set in tranquil and beautiful surroundings. We are within a short distance from the villages of Addo and Kirkwood. The well known Addo Elephant Park is also situated close by. You will find us in the heart of the citrus world and the valley of the roses.
We offer self-catering accommodation with an extra option for breakfast. The various types of rooms and accommodation available include riverside chalets, ethnic mud huts, wooden Bush camp cabins and our popular tree tops cottage. The most familiar facade on the farm is the main house with its castle like stature. We have had the opportunity and pleasure of people from across the globe come visit and stay with us.
Our accommodation is there to meet your needs, whether you are a backpacker, traveller, or holidaymaker. If you are on Honeymoon or looking for a wedding venue then we can accommodate you. A small conference venue has been added to our facilities. This is the perfect stopover for those wanting to visit the famous Addo Elephant Park. We are quite willing to make arrangements, with a private game reserve for exclusive visits and safaris. Many of our guests enjoy visiting Daniell the cheetah breeding camp that is situated in the neighboring vicinity. You can also do elephant back rides, a river safari (for the bird lover) and go quad bike riding. |
