Our double storey thatched cottage has been designed to blend with the traditional fisherman's village Arniston. What makes the lodge special, however, is the combination of South African hospitality and German excellence. Enjoy a comfortable stay in our 4 guest rooms which have their own en-suite bathrooms. There are two double bedrooms upstairs under the thatch and another two bedrooms downstairs at pool level that lead out to the garden and swimming pool. The rooms are tastefully furnished and equipped with various amenities including hairdryers, build in safes and tea / coffee making facilities. Our rooms either have a magnificent view of the sea, the fishing village of Kassiesbaai and the sand dunes or are adjacent to our well looked after garden and pool area.

The rooms for bed and breakfast are rented out individually, but small groups can also rent the whole cottage, eg. for a private function. Our guests are treated to a unique Continental breakfast with Cape fruit juice, a special blend of muesli, German bread, an assortment of cold meat and cheese, and brewed filter coffee to top off this delicious start to the day.

The Arniston Lodge is about getting away from it all and experiencing what life is about. Our facilities includes a sparkling swimming pool with an adjacent barbecue area and a well stocked bar. Peace and tranquillity can be savoured with a glass of red wine in our comfortable lounge or on our sundeck. Relax at the nearby beach or enjoy a refreshing swim in the ocean or visit at low tide the Waenhuis Cave, which is only 15 minutes away. The well known most Southern tip of Africa - Cape Agulhas is only 30 minutes away by car.
