The camp is serenely positioned on the banks of the Orange River and has a peaceful atmosphere, with beautiful river views. Listen to the cry of the African Fish Eagle as it flies past, experience sunsets over the mountain ranges of the Richtersveld and the perceptible silent, starry nights. This is the ideal stop-over for visitors to Namibia and 4x4 travellers to the Richtersveld with it's rare plant species and succulents. Newly completed, the camp has become an impressive and attractive destination, offering striking scenery, endless starscapes and first class facilities. Self catering accommodation as well as caravan / camping sites are available.
Self catering: Luxurious self catering wooden chalets on the banks of the river with a braai (barbecue) area, air-conditioning, private bathroom, linen provided, and accommodate up to four people.
Caravan and camping sites: Each campsite has a braai (barbecue), reed lapa and / or trees providing shade, a camp kitchen with a sink, table and benches. Daily cleaned ablution blocks with hot water showers, and flushing lavatories near all campsites.

When you drive from Cape Town via Springbok to Vioolsdrift on the N7, you have to turn left just infront of the borderpost, before crossing the bridge, onto the gravel road and drive for 10km untill you see our sign. Turn right towards Aquacade and the river.
From the North
If you arrive from Namibia, you must go through the South African borderpost and directly after it turn right onto the gravel road.
You then drive on the gravel road for 10km untill you see our sign, and then turn right towards Aquacade and the river.
