For a lovely affordable holiday you can't go wrong in choosing to stay at Ann's House. Ann has 3 fully equipped self catering apartments available for short term rentals.
"Sun" is a one bedroom detached cottage (sleeps 4 - 5) in Ann's well maintained garden. It has a double bed and a single bed in the bedroom. In the open plan lounge, there is a trundle bed, (one bed rolls out from under the other). This is used as a seating area in the day time. Every bed has its own cupboard, as well as extra cupboard space for suitcases. The kitchen has a 3 plate electric stove and oven and a good sized fridge & freezer. Bathroom has a unique bath in it, It is shaped wide at one end to form a shower cubicle. There is a sunny patio with cane furniture and a Weber Braai to enjoy the South African weather. Secure parking is available behind locked gates.
"Sand" is a twin bed Studio apartment attached to the main house. It is in the front and over looks the road and sea. "Sand" is very private, has its own entrance and balcony (with Weber Braai). There is no separate lounge, but there is a large fully equipped (for self catering) kitchen. There is a 4 plate gas stove and oven and full fridge. There is a full bathroom with large shower, bath, toilet and wash basin.
"Sky" is a much smaller studio. It is ideal for a single person but it can accommodate two people. There is a 2 plate electric stove & oven, undercounter fridge and it has a table and chairs in a pleasant courtyard.
All units are equipped with TV's and DVD players, 2 beach chairs and beach umbrellas ( beach towels are not supplied) Bed linen and towels, crockery, cutlery, kettles, toasters, iron and ironing boards, etc.
Each apartment has its own braai (barbecue) facilities. There is a washing machine (there is a charge made for the use of it) and wash trough for the guests to utilise. Internet facilities, a baby cot and high chair can also be provided. There is a lockup store which can be used for motorbikes, bicycles or extra luggage / bulky items if needed.
Unfortunately Ann's House is not wheel chair friendly.
There is no swimming pool on the property, but within walking distance of Ann's House is an olympic sized swimming pool and gym. There is also a waterslide, trampoline and mini golf park along side it. Ann's house is close to beaches, shops, restaurants, medical facilities, 18 hole golf course, bowling greens, tennis courts & a club house where bridge games are held. |
