DESCRIPTION:
 
Amanzi Mountain Reserve is nestled in the Elephant River Conservatory Area of Mpumalanga, situated on 1800 hectares of pristine mountain reserve. Built on a rocky outcrop lies the main building that accommodates a spacious lounge with cosy fireplace, dining room, pub and communal kitchen, with wide double doors opening onto a patio and an open air braai (barbecue) area which is complemented by a magnificent view.

The reserve has six uniquely appointed fully equipped self catering chalets. The bedrooms overlook the breathtaking beauty of the valley. All the chalets vary in style, and some include unique facilities such as an outside shower or a shower between rocks and foliage.

There is a lovely outdoor rock pool and nature trails where a variety of antelope, warthog, zebra and on the odd occasion even leopard, can be viewed. On the recreational side, the reserve offers quad trails, 4x4 routes, game drives and hiking trails and the most spectacular lookout point overlooking the Loskop Dam and Cultural Heartland. Amanzi Mountain Reserve is the ideal getaway vacation for guests wanting to relax in nature.

DIRECTIONS:
 
Traveling from Pretoria take the N4 highway towards Witbank and then take the R575 to Middelburg. Keep driving until you reach N11. Take the N11 highway towards Loskopdam, before reaching Loskopdam you will see a sign board that says "Amanzi Mountain Reserve". Turn right at the sign board and the road will lead you straight to the reserve.
