Adley House in Oudtshoorn is a magnificent Victorian home that was built in 1905 by Sidney Herbert Adley during the "Ostrich Feather Boom".
Hilda and Pieter Retief started the Adley House B&B in 1994. This establishment is a retreat for you to enjoy in true Victorian style. Adley House is personally managed by the hosts themselves and they are true South Africans who have been residing in Oudtshoorn for the past thirty years. They are able to not only give you a warm welcome and real South African hospitality, but also answer all the questions you may have.
The guest house has 14 modern en-suite individually decorated rooms with air-conditioning, TV's, bar fridges, hairdryers, telephones, electronic safe and coffee / tea making facilities. Dinner is provided on request. Fax and internet facilities are available to the guests. Log fires are lit during winter to create a warm and cosy atmosphere right through the house. Come and enjoy our old world charm and relaxing peaceful gardens. We look forward to welcoming you! |
