Aberfeldy Lodge (Kwazulu Private Game Reserve) is situated in a Malaria free area offering the Big Five! The 18,000 hectares of unspoilt Natal bushveld, majestic mountains, towering cliffs, canyons and savannah grasslands are truely a place of splendour. The reserve offers the visitor a unique and fulfilling experience. Here elephants and rhinos mix with zebra, wildebeest, antelope and the largest buffalo herds in Natal. Aberfeldy Lodge offers a warm friendly setting with immaculate garden. The thatched main lodge with its spacious homely lounge and bar area sets the tone. Double doors lead out onto a deck strategically positioned to provide sweeping views of the bush, and the grasslands are always littered with game. Fine dining in an elegant dining room, or on the deck under the stars make meal times an "occasion". Each meal is a gastronomic experience offering a fine array of exclusive flavours to the discerning guest. From the 4th single on a booking, each single is charged at 50% of the normal room rate. Children under 6
years sharing with parents stay for free. Children from 6 years to 12 years sharing with parents are charged
30% of the adult rate. Tariffs are quoted in Rand and are subject to change. Inclusive 14% VAT and the
Tourist levy.
Tariffs include:

Cancellation fee policy
If confirmed booking is cancelled one week prior to arrival a 100% cancellation fee is payable.
2 weeks prior an 80% cancellation fee is payable.
3 weeks prior to arrival a 50% cancellation fee is payable.

From Johannesburg (5 hours)
Exit Johannesburg on the Witbank N4. Take the Middelburg exit to Hendrina.
Continue towards Ermelo on the N11. Continue towards Piet Retief and Pongola on the N2.
From Durban (5 hours)
Exit from Durban to Stranger on the N2 North. Continue past Empangeni to Pongola on the N2 North.
From Richards Bay (2½ hours)
Exit Richards Bay to Pongola on the N2.
From Pongola (30 minutes)
Turn down the R66 to Nongoma. Continue for about 22km past the Magudu sign on your right.
Turn right at the R69 towards Vryheid. Continue towards the entrance of Kwazulu Private Game Reserve.
Follow the road and after 2km turn left at the sign "Aberfeldy Lodge".
