This lovingly renovated Victorian home is situated in the heart of Montagu which was voted South Africa's favourite Village by 2 400 000 people. Montagu is safe to walk around and is a great place as a hub for 3 or 4 days to explore or just do nothing.

Guests have a choice of accommodation: The "Dial Cottage" - a Cape-Dutch thatch with three awe inspiring spacious garden rooms, an elevated "Garden Suite" with huge lounge and sun deck, as well as the "Honeymoon Room" (see our Rates section for further descriptions). The rooms have their own entrances and are complemented with embroidered percale linen, spacious bathrooms, original art, tea trays, fridges and safes. Stunning gardens, amazing birdlife, black swans, and framed by majestic mountains are just some of the very many attractions. Relax by the sparkling pool. Walk to one of the many excellent restaurants for a wonderful dinner in the evening. We are only 5 minutes drive to the hot mineral springs and within walking distance to hiking and walking trails along with rock climbing routes.
